JOHANNESBURG – The National Criminal Prosecution Authority has confirmed that two women will seek bail in Johannesburg court of first instance on Wednesday in connection with the false resurrection of Brighton Moyo.
It is understood that the couple appeared for the first time in court last month on charges of fraud and has been in custody since that day.
Various church officials officially filed complaints at the Sandton Police Station against Pastor Alph Lukau of Alleluia Ministries International, who had presented the show to the public.
A cunning video – showing Moyo coming out of a coffin – became viral and brought many believers to believe that he had been brought back to life.
