Kim Kardashian West explains the INSANE washbasins that Kanye designed for their bathroom

Kim Kardashian West gave a video tour of her 46 million-pound sterling house and sinks troubled by the viewers' view, prompting her to give an explanation.

When the star of Keeping Up With The Kardashians opened the door to Vogue's 73 questions, there was a mixture of wonder and amazement about design and furniture – and the lack of doors.

While all this has sparked a lot of social media discussion, it's the quirky bathroom faucets and sinks that have really baffled fans of reality TV.

So much so that the 38-year-old woman posted a video explator on her Instagram story.

The sinks seem to be on a flat top unit, with a small hole for the water, although most people thought it would only flood, with water running down the floor.

It turns out that it's a little smarter than that and that it's not only a marvel of sink technology, it was also designed by the rapper's husband of Kim, Kanye.

Spinning in her huge bathroom, Kim gave a close-up view of the sinks and explained that there was a slight slope from the counter to a slotted drain.

Sitting behind the camera, Kim said: "Since everyone is a little confused about our sinks, I thought you would visit our bathroom a little bit.

"This is our terrace over there, all our ceiling is a light box.The tub is suitable for all our children and our shower.

"So, our sinks, Kanye drew this, 8 versions of this prototype sink were made and it actually has a slight slope.

"There is a slot for the water, you put it to as high a pressure as you want and no backsplash will rise."

It's a bathroom revolution in which Kanye could give life to the future with its ingenious sinks.
