John Mahama, presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), is today, April 18, 2019, visiting parts of Accra to interact with drivers, commuters and traders.

The purpose of the visit, according to a statement, is to "wish them good luck for the Easter holidays" which will take place on Friday, April 19, 2019.

The former president is expected to visit the Accra Tudu truck terminal and pedestrian markets, the Kaneshie truck terminal and its market complex as well as the Nkrumah Circle truck and pedestrian terminal market.

Mahama had already made a similar appeal in the central and Volta regions.

The former president is hoping for a comeback after the defeat of the 2016 elections by incumbent President Nana Akufo-Addo.
