Asante Kotoko was fined $ 4,000 by the CAF
The Ghanaian giant Asante Kotoko has been fined $ 4,000 by the African Football Confederation for its poor state of seats at the Confederation Cup.
The state of the facilities for their African campaign was mediocre, foreign clubs complaining about the state of the seats.
The Porcupine warriors were fined because the searches of the coaches and substitutes did not comply with the laws of the CAF.
According to information received by GHANASoccernet.com, the CAF communicated the fine to the Kumasi-based club.
Asante Kotoko reached the group stages of the CAF Confederation Cup for the first time in eleven years, after impressive performances.
The team hosted the Kariobangi Sharks, Cotton Sport, Zesco United, Nkana FC and Al Hilal in Kumasi in the Confederations Cup.
