NPP urged Ghanaians to pray against saboteurs against Akufo-Addo government
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Secretariat in the Upper East District has urged Ghanaians to pray against saboteurs who, by local interest, may not want social intervention programs focused on human being of the President are born.
In a press release signed by regional secretary, Cletus Ayambire Innocent, as the party joins the world in celebrating this year's Easter, the NPP pointed out that Easter was a central celebration in the Christian liturgical year.
The press release explained that, according to the canonical gospels, Jesus Christ was resurrected from the dead on the third day after his crucifixion.
"Ghanaians from all over the country are preparing for the Easter celebration with the expected Christian conventions and other social commitments.
"We wish to implore all Christians to use this period and pray for the government and other representatives of the state who, in various ways, have helped His Excellency President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo and his government to work until now.
"We hope Easter will give you a reason to celebrate and enjoy the resurrection of life. Celebrate this day with peace, love and happiness. "
