GNA – Christians in the country were invited to carry the cross of Jesus
Christ with a compelling message of his love to earn more souls in
Christianity.
Reverend Eric Amoako Agyemang,
Secretary of Ashaiman Region, Apostolic Church of Christ (CACI), in a
sermon of Good Friday, said that many Christians do not have
messages to attract more souls to the Kingdom of God.
Reverend Agyemang,
noted that the shameful death of Jesus Christ on the cross to save humanity
was enough evidence to prove to the world that Jesus Christ was the savior of
the world.
He also advised
Christians to imitate the life of Christ, adding that Jesus Christ was a
the quintessence of humility so Christians must be humble and know their value
the kingdom of God.
According to him,
Christians have failed to defend their integrity because of their personal interests and
material gains.
In an interview with
Ghana News Agency, Apostle David Hagan Okyere, Apostle of the Ashaiman Region
CACI, said that Christians must be moderate and reflective while they celebrate the
Easter season.
Apostle Okyere said
that Christians had the duty to sacrifice their personal comfort for the
country like Christ did for humanity.
He also called
Christians must take sanitation problems very seriously by cleaning up their environment
reminding them that Jesus Christ not only took away the sins of humanity, but
also cured a lot of their various diseases.
