EastEnders revealed emotionally charged scenes of the return of Sean Slater (Rob Kazinsky) in a brand new trailer about regret, violence, misery and a sad death. Before Sean's big return next week, new scenes have been unveiled and Sean seems to be a shell of himself as he tries to be forgiven and finds out that his mother, Jean (Gillian Wright), is suffering from 'cancer.
But that does not prevent him from picking on Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) when they find themselves face to face and find themselves mingled with a violent fight around the graves of Ronnie and Roxy. Sean unaware that Roxy is dead, Jack's bomb kills him deep inside him and his fists fly away quickly.
Meanwhile, Jean is upset and falls in tears when she sees Sean, but Stacey (Lacey Turner) is much less impressed and we see her slapping her brother before demanding to know what he's doing. wants and tell him that he destroys everything he touches! Ouch.
But Sean's vulnerable side will arrive as he cries at Roxy's grave and walks with his sick mother. And when Jean seems to take a turn for the worse, Sean tells him how sorry he is. Did he make a shocking confession about Father Brian?
And could this be Jean's latest scenes while she looks worse to wear? Stacey's warning that he suffers wherever he goes may be an omen that his arrival could announce a tragedy to the Slaters.
But whatever the outcome, the trailer only proves one thing: a dramatic week and mixed reactions to Sean's return.
Producer Kate Oates said, "I'm excited to see Rob return to Albert Square and the heart of the Slater family. As an actor, Rob created a modern icon of EastEnders in Sean; and as a creator, he contributed a lot to his new story.
"It's exciting to work with an actor with Rob's determination, pbadion and sense of detail, and I look forward to seeing the impact of his arrival on the spot among those who have loved or disliked Sean Slater. "
