Health officials in Idaho said anyone who used toilets on board a Greyhound bus from Salt Lake City to Boise on April 10 would have been exposed to hepatitis A.
The Central District Health Department of Idaho asks all those who used the restroom to contact him for information on a potential exposure.
The district said that bus pbadengers who would travel from Utah to Idaho could receive a vaccine protecting them from the virus until April 23.
Hepatitis A is a viral infection of the liver transmitted by the feces of an infected person.
Most infected adults suffer from fatigue, lack of appetite, stomach pain, nausea and jaundice – symptoms that usually disappear two months after infection.
