President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo called on Ghanaians to reflect on the extraordinary sacrifice that Jesus made on the cross of Calvary and to work diligently for the well-being of the nation.

In a message announcing Easter activities, the president said the season was a good opportunity to reflect on Jesus' sacrifice for the sake of humanity and for the hope that it brings us.

President Akufo-Addo has estimated that the sacrifices made by the nation and the Ghanaians in the last two years "begin to bear fruit and put the nation on the right track".
