The Manchester City Chief meets Jorge Mendes & # 39; to discuss the transfer of Joao Felix

Manchester City is already preparing its first foray into the summer transfer window as it aligns the goal for Joao Felix.

Felix made his debut for Benfica last August, but he's been turning heads ever since.

He became the youngest player to have scored a hat-trick in the Europa League in his team's 4-2 win over Eintracht Frankfurt, a goal and two badists against Vitoria Setubal on Sunday.

City seems to be the pioneer of the signing of the Portuguese international under-21, who can play at the center or at the wing. He has scored 16 goals in 38 games in all competitions during this season.

According to Goal City's sports director, Txiki Begiristain, who was in the stadium to attend Felix's hat game against Frankfurt, met with agent Jorge Mendes, who oversees the transfer.

Juventus, Real Madrid and Manchester United are among the other clubs interested in the young.

Felix has a huge buyout clause of 120 million euros, but City thinks he can secure the player at a slightly lower price.

However, they do not want to be dragged into a fierce war with their rivals for the transfer.

Felix has received praise from a number of industry personalities, including Joao Tralhao, who coached him into the youth team.

Tralhao said: "He's a very talented player, very technical, his decision-making skills are absolutely incredible, exceptional, elite level, it's safe."

It is also believed that City would be interested in Felix's team-mate Florentino, a defensive midfielder who made his debut as a senior team for Benfica in February.
