PizzaExpress chefs were hit after a pregnant woman and her family were denied entry into any of the chain's restaurants, as they are travelers.
The incident yesterday at the Dome Leisure Center in Doncaster was filmed by Chick Wilson, the mother of a child, and the images were uploaded to Facebook.
She was at the restaurant with her family, including young children, to celebrate her son David's fifth birthday.
The shocking clip shows a staff member saying to the group, "I can not let any traveler community enter."
When asked why, he answers, "Because we have had too many problems in the past."

Ms. Wilson, pregnant with twins, revealed that the incident had led her to ask him why it was unfair to be a traveler.
The images spurred the fury on social media, many arguing that this policy was flagrant discrimination.
Tracy Cockayne said, "I'm really sorry to read this status.It really pissed and saddened me to know that this type of fanaticism is still topical in 2019. I really hope that everything the world is boycotting Pizza Express. "

Others have called the family to sue the company. Ms. Wilson stated that she had been contacted by a team specializing in discrimination cases and that she would be acting against the chain.
A spokesperson for PizzaExpress said: " PizzaExpress has a zero tolerance policy for discrimination, no matter what, and the safety of our customers and team members is paramount. We invite the customer to get in touch in order to provide additional context.
"Although this client's experience is not excused, further investigation revealed that the manager was acting in accordance with police recommendations following past disruptions.
"Our teams may face difficult decisions and we trust them to use their judgment to the best of their ability, although it is not always easy.We would like to apologize wholeheartedly for any unintentional breaches caused to the client. or his family, and we hope to welcome them soon. "
In 2015, JD Wetherspoon was sentenced to pay £ 24,000 to eight travelers refusing to enter the Coroner in North London.
The case followed a similar incident at Tivoli Wetherspoon in Cambridge, where three travelers were denied entry following a funeral.
The chain was found to be contrary to the 2010 Equality Act.
President Tim Martin apologized and said society would learn from its mistakes.
