Prime Minister, Mr. Yaw Osafo-Maafo and Queen Galamsey Aisha Huang
Prime Minister, Mr. Yaw Osafo-Maafo, has been severely criticized as a result of a comment he made about Queen Galamsey Aisha Huang and relations between China and Ghana that is become viral on social media.
Kwaku Baako Jnr., Editor-in-Chief of the New Crusading Guide, is the last to condemn the Hon. The comment of "bad taste" of Osafo-Maafo.
He therefore urged the senior minister to eat the modest pie by apologizing for his comments.
Kwaaku Baako was speaking in the news brief of the JOY FM / MultiTV Newspaper on Saturday morning.
Kwaku Baako Jnr also urged Mr Osafo-Maafo to make a full disclosure of the relationship between Ghana and the Chinese Sinohydro agreement, worth $ 2 billion.
"It is a public trial that the Attorney General has filed a prosequi nose. We debated left, right and center. The question has come to an end, "he said, adding that instead of an economic explanation, the prime minister should simply have complied with the law.
"It is true that imprisoning someone, Aisha Huang, in this case, will not solve Ghana's economic problems. That's true. It's a fact. But incarceration, based on the evidence presented to the court, would also strengthen the deterrence culture that we seek to develop. This will have a deterrent effect on the impunity that concerns us all.
"That is why he should not have invoked this whole point to not undermine his credibility and integrity, as well as the administration to which he belongs," he said.
