FAcebook has been accused of preventing cancer support groups from having blocked accounts sharing images of surgical scars.
Breast cancer activists have described Facebook's decision as "harmful" to remove post-mastectomy images and ban users, while the photos were "critical" to reveal the realities of the disease.
This comes after Facebook has updated its community guidelines last year to allow sharing of this type of photos within the cancer community.
