My dear Otumfuo
On the grand occasion of the 20th anniversary of your entry into the golden stool, as 16th Asantehene, let me, with our children, congratulate you for your remarkable achievements and have made us our husband, father and grandfather -father wonderful, loving and reliable everything.
When I think about the early days of our court and our marriage, about 18 years ago, the sweet memories and sometimes the inevitable sorrows, the ups and downs and the many surreal moments come to mind and I sometimes have to pinch myself make sure that I do not dream and that this incredible journey is real. I thank you for being the best husband that a woman can ask for.
Telling some of my experiences and precious moments over the years will be an impossible task, you have opened a world I never thought possible. I will never forget the festivities, the festivities and the percussions organized by Nana Hemaa to welcome the birth of my children, Nana Hemaa Jnr. and Nana Kwame Kyeretwie. This was one of many occasions when I was overwhelmed and really appreciated my role as "Oheneyere".
In the many years that I have known you, what I admire most about you is your heart that takes care of you, your kindness and your humility. Thank you for always finding the time, in spite of your enormous tasks, to take on our basic family affairs. Your personal attention to the full development of our children, especially their school time and free time, is heartwarming. You even find time to play golf with the youngest, Nana Hemaa and Nana Kwame. Know that they will always understand the love of a father as if you were receiving eternal rewards.
Finally, let me congratulate you for your impressive 20 years as 16th occupant of the golden stool. You have served with dignity, warmth and generosity, and your dedication to duty has inspired the deepest respect at home and abroad. You are also admired for your promotion of charity, for which many have taken the example. You are an inspiring person and a role model for good service and I am proud to call you my husband.
Happy 20th birthday my love! May God continue to bless our marriage and our family, and may God continue to bless and guide you.
Ohene mo ni y3!
