As I stated before, I did not know Otumfuo until he was elected as Asantehene in 1999. He was a new face and many of my colleagues who knew as little about him were rightly curious . I observe with discreet admiration that Otumfuo Osei Tutu II led Asanteman with wisdom and courage, which brought greater glory to one of the most important African kingdoms.
