Easter, a turning point to restore energy to Christians

Hohoe, April
21, GNA – Reverend Benjamin Acquaye, Chief Pastor of Hope
Temple, International Central Gospel Church, Hohoe Branch, said that
the crucifixion, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ should remain the
turning for Christians to revitalize for novelty and piety.

He said this
occur only through the demonstration of love towards humanity, family and
country because its climax was sacrifice and submission.

Rev. Acquaye
who preached the homily on Easter Sunday, reminded the season to Christians
this hope must never be lost, because as dark as the path of life may appear, there was
always the light at the end of the tunnel.

"Like the rock
was rolled from the tomb habouring Jesus Christ, can the old and ungodly ways of
our lives are transformed into renewed life and energy for the building of the nation.

"Resurrection
gave us a new beginning and as Jesus rose from the dead, humanity resurrected and
walk in novelty, he says.

Pastor Acquaye
said that this novelty should influence attitudes towards good sanitation and the
environment and urged religious leaders to redouble their efforts for this cause.

He said the
the power of the pulpit was underutilized and therefore appealed to the
The Church to help the state express the love of Jesus through attitudes based on
on the principles of the ways of life of Christ.

"Cleanliness is
