Cape Coast,
April. 21, GNA – Many churches of
the Cape Coast Metropolis on Sunday held religious services to remember and
celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ after his crucifixion.
Most
the churches were filled to capacity with members dressed in white for the occasion,
meaning Christ's victory over death.
Other churches
also culminated their crusades and conventions with special healing services and
Thanksgiving.

Presbyterian Paul in Cape Coast, Reverend Amanamah Kobina Assuah,
A district minister who spoke of "Christ's victory over death" said that
the victory over death brings change.
Selected
readings are taken from Psalm 118: 1-2, 14-24, 1 Corinthians 15: 19-26, Luke 1-12.
He noted that
an empty tomb symbolized a new beginning in the life of every Christian and

A "true witness of today's victory" was for Christians to leave the activities

He said as true
witnesses to Christ's victory, it was imperative that all Christians imitate
good examples of Christ, be honest, honest, loving and compbadionate and proclaim
the gospel of the Lord.
