President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo
The president, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, described the Osantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, as a pillar of promotion, development and peace education in Ghana.

President Akufo-Addo said this when he joined Asantehene at Manhyia Palace on Sunday to celebrate the Akwasidae K3se3, which culminated on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Otumfuo Osei Tutu. II since his ascent to the golden stool.

Kumasi witnessed a cultural extravaganza on Sunday, April 21, when Osantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, celebrated the 20th anniversary of his coronation with a great durbar on Akwasidae k3se3.
The occasion was the culmination of the anniversary and thousands of Asante and sympathizers from around the world gathered in Dwabirem of Manhyia Palace for the event and shared the joy and the glory of this birthday.
Asantehene, in all her royalty and elegance, climbed into a palanquin of the Palace at Dwabirem in the midst of musket fire.
As usual, the chefs and guests had the opportunity to pay tribute to Asantehene who was sitting in state.
The Asantehemaa, Nana Konadu Yiadom III, also rode in a palanquin on the durbar ground.
The cultural exhibitions of various groups highlight the richness of the asante culture.
Before Otumfuo Osei Tutu delivered his birthday speech, the Vice President of Suriname and President Akufo-Addo took turns praising him for his exemplary leadership.
