To speculate on rumors surrounding professional wrestling is a favorite hobby of many fans, perhaps the second to watch only matches. In this daily column, we examine the latest rumors emanating from the wrestling rumor mill.

Rumors of the day:

  • A man wearing a mask made an appearance in an independent show and did a GTS this weekend, and rumors say that this man was actually CM Punk.
  • Wrestling Inc states that there was a plan for Punk to unmask and show that it was him, but that was obviously not produced.

  • On the Wrestling Observer radio, Dave Meltzer said that WWE was convinced that Dean Ambrose would not fight anywhere other than in the WWE and would rather take a break from professional wrestling.
  • WWE backlash, which was previously scheduled for June 16, was canceled by the observer. This could be due to the show in Saudi Arabia that will air on June 7th.
  • According to Starrcast, Dave Meltzer is one of the greatest wrestlers of all time.
