The love story of Brienne of Tarth and Jaime Lannister has been confirmed by the bosses of Game Of Thrones – but that might not be a good thing before the Battle of Winterfell.
The last episode of the epic Westeros promised a few moments of happiness to our favorite characters – but with all the good moments that come, and on the eve of the war, it is quite clear that not everyone will arrive at the end the next installment.
While this has long been presumed and discussed, D.B. Weiss confirmed in a behind-the-scenes video that even Brienne might not realize the true extent of his feelings for Jaime.
But that could spell disaster in the future.
D.B. said on camera: "For Brienne, I think she is in love with someone who does not realize her identity because that kind of experience is not part of her life.
"She feels things she can not really treat because she never grew up in a world where these things were an option."
Anyway, Brienne finally got the recognition she deserved sincerely when Jaime Lannister had knighted her, making her the first woman in the kingdom to receive this honor.
The look on her face as she realized this moment saw her to the happiest – but D.B. He added that it was not just a validation to be among her peers.
"It's kind of a general validation that she wanted all her life," he said. "But, more importantly, it's Jamie's acceptance and validation that she clearly feels she has never really accepted, or even allowed to bubble on the surface of her consciousness. but that she is always the same.
"You can see all these things swirling."

In the last trailer of the next episode of the series, we see Brienne take its place of choice in the battle against the White Walkers and the Night King.
But since the dead are pretty hard to kill, we have to wait patiently in the hope that everything goes well.
Game Of Thrones continues on Sundays on HBO and Sky Atlantic.
