Bawumia leaves for the United Kingdom | Policy

The Vice President of Ghana, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, left Accra on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 to travel to Oxford, UK, to speak at a seminar held as part of the program. a lecture series at the University of Oxford, in honor of the famous British development economist Sir Paul Collier.

Sir Paul was Professor of Economics and Public Policy at the Blavatnik School of Government and Director of the International Growth Center.

Sir Paul is also Director of the Center for Studies on African Economies and faculty member of St Antony's Oxford College.

He was also Senior Advisor to the Blair Commission for Africa and was Director of the Development Research Group at the World Bank from 1998 to 2003.

Dr. Bawumia will return to Accra on Saturday, April 27, 2019.
