The Black Keys Unleash New Track 'Eagle Birds'

[ad_1]

"Let's rock"! It's a simple mission statement Black Keys next album. Eagle Birds is the only duo released, it sounds like they're doing a great job of living up to the album title's promise.

with Dan Auerbach's heavier' 70s-sounding guitar licks and swinging catchy beat from drummer Patrick Carney, "Eagle Birds" sounds like a cinch for some solid rock radio airplay. It's the second single to come from their forthcoming album, following the heels of the current rock radio staple, "Lo / Hi." Take a look at the song in the player at the bottom of this post.

With the new song comes a whole bunch of other details about the highly anticipated album return of Dan and Patrick. "Let's Rock " is now on track for a June 28 street date via Easy Eye Sound / Nonesuch Records. The album 's artwork and track listing can be seen below.

Having taken some time off to pursue other projects in recent years, it's been a five-year stretch since Turn Blue Dropped back in 2014. "When we're together we are the Black Keys," Auerbach says. "That's where that real magic is, and we've been 16."

Carney says of the album, "The record is like a homage to electric guitar. We took a closer look at the album. "Indeed, the album is more guitar-centric and less experimental than Turn Blue, which saw the band expand their musical palette.
