April 23, 2019 marked the 100th anniversary of Imam National Chief Sheikh Dr. Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu.
He was born in Fadama in Accra in 1919. After the creation of the Office of the National Imam Chief by the Government of 1993, Sheikh Osman was appointed to this post.
A responsibility that he holds to this day. He is respected for promoting interfaith dialogue and religious coexistence in Ghana.
