From 2011 to 2016, the prevalence of malaria among children under five years decreased by 8% nationally and from 2014, the number of deaths from malaria decreased by 73%.

However, as we celebrate this impact on saving lives, we must step up our efforts to fight the disease and achieve the noble and ambitious goal of "Zero Malaria Deaths".

Since 2008, PMI has partnered with Ghana to fight malaria, funding essential malaria interventions and providing valuable technical and operational badistance to strengthen and expand Ghana's efforts to end this deadly disease. totally avoidable.

During fiscal year 2018, PMI has invested $ 28 million in Ghana and has provided over $ 277 million in badistance to Ghana since its inception.
