GRIDCo will provide electricity for the first time across the lines
The Ghana Grid Company (GRIDCo) will organize, on Saturday, April 27, 2019, the Kintampo-Bolgatanga section of the Kumasi-Bolgatanga 330 kv transmission line project.
In announcing this in a press release on Friday, GRIDCo explained that the power-up line meant that live electricity would cross the lines for the first time.
Residents of the transmission line were therefore asked to note that the line would be powered from Saturday.
GRIDCo also urged them to stay away from all transmission facilities, including the pylons located along the corridor.
"Any unauthorized contact with the facilities could compromise the safety and lives of such persons".
GRIDCo therefore called on residents to cooperate fully with them to enable them to better serve communities.
