The late C.K Tedam was chairman of the NPP alumni council
Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia on Friday praised Clement Kubindiwor Tedam, affectionately named C.K Tedam, chairman of the ruling party's elders' council, the new patriotic party, at the Nyaho Medical Center.
In his publications on Facebook and Twitter, Dr. Bawumia stated that Mr. Tedam embodied honesty, loyalty, humility, and wisdom.
He said that Mr. Tedam, a founding member of the NPP, was an inspiration to him and to many others who had the privilege of contacting him.
Mr. Tedam has been ill for some time and was receiving treatment at the Nyaho Medical Center in Accra.
Mr. Tedam was first elected to Parliament as an independent candidate in 1954.
Mr. Tedam was a founding member of the Northern People's Party. He ran and won another election in Parliament in 1956 under the influence of the Northern People's Party (NPP).
He was an icon of the Busia tradition, Dombo, Danquah and a founding member of the NPP.
