Kwesi Appiah said that he had "unfinished business" with Ghana and that he remained "very hopeful" that he will be in the team for the Africa Cup of Nations. Nations in June.

Ghana will play in Group F of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt alongside Cameroon, Benin and Guinea-Bissau.
