Angry NDC youth clashed the metropolitan city of Tamale watches over the destruction of their property.
The wooden shed, located in Vitting, a town in Tamale, in the north of the country, was used as a gathering place by party supporters to discuss political issues.
But after the Vitting SHS authorities complained about the location of the structure located near a road, the mayor of Tamale charged the city's guards with demolishing it.
Enraged party militants clashed sporadically with the guards, resisting demolition last Thursday night.

Hashmin Mohammed, of Joy News, reported that the scene was "so chaotic" that the mayor's bodyguard had to unload his firearm.
Hashmin Mohammed explained that the warning shot had momentarily pushed out the aggressive youths in time for the bodyguard to be taken to a safe place.
Musah Superior has not been available to comment despite efforts to reach him.
NDC President for the Northern Region, Alhaji Ibrahim Mobila, who led an on – site party team, called on the Regional Security Council to call the general director of Tamale Metropolitan to order.
