"But I'm not sure that in two seasons we can be better than them.
"When I arrived in Naples, Naples was, in the previous season's table, 24 points behind Juventus.
"In the first season, we reached nine points of Juventus, second season at six points, third season at four points.
"For us, it was impossible to completely cover the gap, but by the end of the third season we were about to do it."
The Blues can give a sizeable boost to their first place in the Premier League if they were to win Sunday at Manchester United.

Sarri thinks that Chelsea can still progress even without the arrival of newcomers. He also claimed that a full pre-season to work with the team could yield a big dividend.

Asked if his late arrival last summer was delaying the progress of this mandate, Sarri added, "I think so, because we only had two or three weeks to work.
"And at the end of August, we started playing every three days.
"In Naples, I had about 60 training sessions each season just for the defensive line. Here I had about 11 or 12 on the defensive line, so there is a big difference.
"I probably needed some time to get used to English football.
"I think it's normal, it can happen. Not only for English football, but also for this club.
"And now, in the next season, I will probably be able to give more to my players."
