London 2019 Marathon: How to track celebrity runners live, from Mark Wright to Natalie Cassidy

It is this time again. The London Marathon is taking place today and various courageous celebrities are taking part in charity work.

Dozens of famous personalities will take part in the 26.2-kilometer exhausting run across London in an effort to raise funds for various charities – or just to prove to themselves that they have what it takes to finish.

Marathon regulars Chris Evans, Kirsty Gallacher and many EastEnders stars are among the many posters on Instagram to share their excitement and fears.

Candice Brown of The Great British Bake Off, one of many, shared a moving message in the memory of her late grandfather.

Adam Woodyatt from EastEnders has been training for months

"This Sunday, I am facing my biggest challenge so far: the @londonmarathon A, an element of @dementiarevolution, help us to support and raise awareness and raise vital funds, because, frankly, the disease of the day is not a problem. Alzheimer's is heartbreaking and heartbreaking for all! " she wrote.

"I do it in memory of my grandfather Fred and that's pretty much the only thing that will take me through!"

Comedian Ed Gamble nervously wrote, "Tomorrow I will run the London Marathon for the second time to raise funds for @jdrf_uk.

Kirsty Gallacher has already done the marathon

I'm a little more nervous this time around. My own type 1 diabetes did not play ball well during training, which made things more difficult, but I'm still determined to run strong and true. "

EastEnders star Adam Woodyat is running for Dementia Revolution, alongside Dame Barbara Windsor, who was unfortunately diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease in 2014.

She will be accompanied by her compatriot Natalie Cbadidy, who said: "I feel so privileged and honored to be one of Barbara's revolutionaries."

Max Branning, the EastEnders bad boy, played by Jake Wood, who will also support Babs through the charity, will also join their colleagues.

Barbara's husband, Scott Mitchell, will lead Barbara's team to support his wife.

Scott recently told the Loose Women that he hoped his wife would be able to greet him at the finish line.

But because of the deteriorating state of her health, Scott confirmed that she would not encourage her on the street, but rather at her home.
