Due to a recent series of ugly and / or lazy shirt patterns (like this one), the WWE merchandise graphics have become a joke. So when the bizarre version of Bray Wyatt in Firefly Fun House appeared last week, I wondered how they would have tried – and failed – to turn this surprisingly original gadget into a shirt.
And today, we have finally seen their real product, which requires so little effort that it is virtually related to the surrealist realism of Wyatt's new act:
Unfortunately for those looking to take my money, I am more interested in this t-shirt:
Who knows why Bray tweeted this? Probably nobody other than the dreadlocked grappler himself. But if I were him, I know I would send it as a sign of my frustration with the WWE merch team.
The new vibe of Wyatt is so scary and interesting … it deserves to be deserved. Whether it's best with giant carnival color glyphs or something more subtle belongs to someone who has design training.
In the end, though, I have to thank WWE. I'm trying desperately to save money by not buying merch, and they make my job easier.
