YEN.com.gh saw a message written by a Nigerian army officer, revealing how his heart had broken after a lady with whom he had been dating for five years had refused his marriage proposal.
According to the military officer, the loving attitude of his wife towards him changed after his entry into the army and his posting to Maiduguri, in the state of Borno, as she stated that she could not marry her because she did not know when he would die.

"I have met this girl for over five years and we go out together. She made me believe that she loved me so much that she could not do without me. I showed all the love as much as I could give it all to him. Two years after meeting her, I entered the army and was badigned to Maiduguri. I planned how to get married to this woman without knowing that she had her own plans.
Since I joined the army, his attitude has changed a bit, but I can not understand the problem. Until I come back to propose to a girlfriend the heart filled with joy, hoping to get a positive answer all at once. This lady looked me in the eye and told me that she could not marry me. We can go out together, but she will not be able to marry me because she does not know when I will die.
Since then, I am in the mood thinking because I can not believe what I have heard from the woman I love so much.. "
