A sister of the suspect in the Kumasi National Democratic Congress (NDC) office said she received threats from people suspected of being part of the angry young woman who badaulted her brother.
Samira Hussein, the suspect's sister during the shooting in the NDC of Kumasi, revealed that she had been overwhelmed by threats made by people who she said were among the thugs who witnessed the shooting. attack of his brother.

His brother, Suleman Hussein, known as Akon, was declared wanted by the police for his alleged involvement in the shooting that claimed the life of 34-year-old Abdul Wasiu.
On Thursday, April 25, 2019, an angry youth besieged the suspect's residence in Kenyasi-Abirem, where he was allegedly badaulted.
Following threatening calls, Samira Hussein said she was living in fear and wanted police protection.
"After the incident, I received calls from unknown numbers and private numbers. By the time I hear the voice, I just cut the call. I listened to a guy and he told me that they had made a mistake and that they should have attacked me before my brother. They should not have allowed me to move. I saw strange faces around our house. People inspect our house, " she decried.
Some men alleged to be relatives and friends of the deceased attacked Suleman Hussein as part of an alleged attack in retaliation.

The victim is now at the Komfo Anokye University Hospital after being injured several times.
On Thursday afternoon, the angry young man took possession of the victim's home in Kenyasi-Abirem to ask where he was from his family.
The suspect's sister revealed that the young woman, about 20 years old, had forcibly entered her brother's room and stabbed her several times with knives.
The family reported the incident to the police who later came to his aid and managed to disperse the youth.
Context
The shooting took place in February when the party's national president, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, the secretary general, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, and the regional executive committee met in the office to discuss issues between the two factions.

The attack resulted in the death of Abdul Wasiu Iddris, 34, and another wounded.
The suspects are Dauda Ibrahim (Wayo), 40, Abdul Ganiu (37) and Samuel Agyin aka Rock, 32.
The three, Hussein Bari aka Warrior, Midhima, Damos and Abu Taliban, reported to the regional police.
Police investigations also mention the following suspects; Sanni Mohammed aka Commando, Wayo, Element, Jah Rule, Little, Fayiz, Mallam and Rock.
Police also questioned the deputy minister of the Ashanti region, Joseph Yamin, and a former general manager of the municipality of Ejisu Juabeng, Afrifa Yamoah Ponko.
According to them, four alleged members of the pro-national Democratic Congress group, the Hawks, are suspected of having been behind the attack on the party's regional office in Ashanti, Kumasi, which resulted in one death and another injured.
