Accra, April 29, GNA –
The International Journal of Ghana Technology University College (GTUC)
Technology and Entrepreneurship (IJTE) was launched in Accra.
The launch of
IJTE, which is a peer-reviewed journal, is part of the University College journal.
strategic plan to globally improve the GTUC brand and increase its visibility.
Designed and developed
by the Office of Research and Innovation Services (ORSI) in collaboration with
various stakeholders of the GTUC, the IJTE would be produced twice a year for
publish both theoretical and experimental articles of high quality on
interest in the field of entrepreneurship and technology.
These included;
original research, review articles, reviews of book reviews, perspectives,
international scholarships and case studies.
Professor Emmanuel
Ohene Afoakwa, chairman of the GTUC, in his remarks at the launch, said that the
IJTE has created a unique platform to enlighten their big university
College, he also sought to encourage their senior members, especially the
ability to know the importance of scientific publications for the growth of
each institution of higher education.

This publication improves the state of the University's ranking, makes it possible to
academic and research collaborations, increases the number of students enrolled, creates
funding opportunities and overall, raise the profile of the University
on a global scale.
"It's in this

community to take full advantage of the resources made available to the

He said that the ORSI was
equipped to provide full support to students, faculty and staff
administration of all research projects.
He also said
offered professional administrative services at the University College
research by providing information on funding opportunities, providing
help with the preparation and submission of proposals, post-award badistance
reporting and compliance with regulations and the organization of workshops and seminars for
teachers and staff.
Prof Afoakwa told GTUC
remains focused on improving its brand both internationally and locally;
indicating that management would continue to support the respective departments
and the faculties to show the world, the value of learning at GTUC and the
potential we could achieve.

& # 39; Knowledge comes from learning & # 39; resonates around the world
and our reputation on the African continent continue to be a university center
excellence, where theory and practice combine to give a better understanding of
the world we live in, "he said.

The Deputy Minister of Communications, who officially launched the Journal, said
entrepreneurship has increased considerably at local and global levels, saying that
at its heart, entrepreneurship is the foundation of the economy.
He said the role of
entrepreneurship by offering innovative solutions to community problems such as
transportation, education and the provision of amenities could not be underestimated.
Mr. Andah said as a
educational institution which, by its very name, strives to embrace
technology and education with a focus on business training, GTUC
had taken an exemplary grant initiative for the publication of such a journal.
