I did not receive 1 million dollars from Mahama – Sports presenter

Yaw Ampofo Ankrah, a renowned sports presenter, announced that he would support his former president, John Dramani Mahama, at any time of the day if he allowed it because of his personal relationship with him and not because he would have received a million dollars from the former president.

The Ace Sports presenter said he learned that he had received about a million dollars from the former president. He was so shocking that he could hardly believe it.

He revealed that he is currently driving a Totoya vehicle. It is therefore never true that he received a house, a car and the alleged amount of one million dollars from Mr. Mahama.

Mr. Ankrah said that people like him could not be bought with gifts. He lamented that it hurts a lot when a substantial percentage of people in society believe in such a lie.

The Sports presenter pointed out that he had never received money from the former president to campaign for him.

He stated that he knew the former president when he was a member of Bole Bamboi and that his relations with him were very solid.

"He was very affable and easy going. It is very nice and for me, this nature has led me to support him, "said the football administrator.

When asked if he would still support the former president in the 2020 elections, he replied, "As for John Mahama, yes! As a person I know since all this time, I have no problem with him. If I have it again, I will support it. The John Mahama I know, I think I can guarantee it.
