UNCC cancels free concert after fatal shooting on campus – UPDATE

Tonight, a shootout at the University of North Carolina, Charlotte, caused two deaths, according to the television newscast Charlotte, The Fox. In addition, four others are currently injured by the Commission's attack. Two of these people's injuries are life threatening.

Earlier in the evening, a student spoke on the phone with WSOC-TV, saying that he was going to the concert when he heard about an active shooter on campus.

"It was terrifying did not expect it in the least, "says the student.

Another student reported on Twitter that the gunman opened fire while the students made their final presentations.

Now the suspect, Trystan Andrew Terrell, 22, is in police custody. According to Heavy, Terrell studied history at UNCC before landing this semester.

At 19:45 the Charlotte-Mecklenburg police stated that she did not believe that anyone else was involved at that time.
