Saturday Night Live's comedian, Pete Davidson, refused to perform in a comedy club after accusing the owner of "disrespectful comments" about Ariana Grande and Kate Beckinsale.

Davidson was scheduled to perform at the Stress Factory Comedy Club in Bridgeport, Connecticut, when he accused the owner of the "disrespect" with comments about his former fiancée and his girlfriends.

In a video posted in his article on Instagram, Davidson, 25, said that he "could not happen under these circumstances", but promised fans who would buy tickets that he was organizing a show free for them.

Davidson added, "Sorry again, it's not your fault."

In a video published by TMZ, Vinnie Brand, owner of the Stress Factory Comedy Club, denied being disrespectful.

He said: "There is no way in the world to disrespect a comedian."

Pete and Kate would have separated in April, after only four months of dating.

The two men were seen together for the first time in January at a Golden Globes party, before publicly announcing their love affair.

However, it has been reported that the romance is over but they remained friends.

A source told Entertainment Tonight: "They are always friendly but not romantic".

While People.com reports that the two men decided to calm the game, an insider said: "Pete and Kate became very serious very quickly, but they decided to slow things down a bit."

Pete and Ariana had a five month lightning relationship

The relationship between Pete and Ariana lasted only five months, including their commitment.

The two men met just days after Ariana's separation from rapper Mac Miller, who tragically died of an accidental drug overdose in September.
