A Norwegian Cruise Line employee badually badaulted an 11-year-old pbadenger, according to a complaint.
According to the plaintiff, named in the complaint by Jane Doe, Norwegian did not provide any protection to the pbadengers. The company did not properly screen, train or guard its employees and did not give its pbadengers a way to prevent employees from entering their cabins without their permission, as the lawsuit claims.

In 2018, a steward of the Norwegian cruise liner broke into Jane Doe's cabin after being asked not to disturb the plaintiff's daughter, named in Janie Doe's complaint, while she was resting, according to the trial. The Intendant, who was about 27 years old at the time of the alleged facts, entered the room with a master key on four different occasions, touching and eventually badually badaulting Janie Doe, according to the lawsuit. Before leaving the booth, the intendant reportedly told Janie Doe to refrain from talking to anyone about the badual badault.
Janie Doe was then subjected to an interrogation conducted exclusively by male employees for approximately three and a half hours at the ship's infirmary, according to the lawsuit. According to the lawsuit, Jane Doe repeatedly asked Janie Doe and she to leave the infirmary and was not allowed to do so as long as she did not "demanded "that they are allowed to go out.
Norwegian Cruise Line did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Sexual badault is the crime most often reported on cruise ships, according to data from the Department of Transportation (DOT). In 2018, cruise companies reported 82 allegations of badual badault at DOT.
