Mario Balotelli congratulated Lionel Messi after his 600th goal for Barcelona, but "for the sake of football, do not compare it to" Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Italian international witnessed tonight's UEFA Champions League semi-finals, which allowed Barca to beat Liverpool 3-0 at Camp Nou with a Messi double.
'The Flea' has scored 600 career goals with a free kick in the top corner.
Balotelli has published his thoughts on the subject via Instagram Stories.
"For the sake of football, do not compare it yet to number 7 Juve."
The reference was to the star of Juventus, Cristiano Ronaldo.
Balo was also celebrating, while his club, Brescia, in his hometown, had regained his place in Serie A after eight years.
