Orange County, California – "Avengers: Endgame" fans and other viewers who attended late night screenings at a California theater last week may have been exposed to measles, the KNBC-TV channel and d & # s; 39, other media.
According to the Orange County Health Agency, doctors have recently diagnosed the disease in a 20-year-old woman from Placentia. The patient had made an international trip to "one of the many countries currently experiencing widespread measles activity," officials said in a press release issued on Tuesday.
"The people of Orange County may have been exposed to measles since the sick person went to public places while it was contagious," the agency said.
The woman, now "voluntarily isolated at home", reportedly visited the AMC movie theater at 1001 S. Lemon Street in Fullerton from 11 pm. From April 25 to April 26, she attended 5 Hutton Center Drive in Santa Ana from 7:45 am to 9:00 am from April 23 to 25 and the St. Jude Emergency Department in Fullerton from 7:00 am to 9:00 am April 27th.

People who have traveled to these places at the same time as the patient should review their vaccination history and monitor the onset of symptoms such as fever or rash until 21 days after exposure to the disease, said officials.
"People who have not received measles or measles vaccine are at higher risk after exposure, so they should talk to a health care provider about vaccination against measles, mumps and rubella, "the statement said.
