Milan midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko apologized to his teammates for his late training parade.
Sky Sport Italia and Sport Mediaset report that Bakayoko's request for forgiveness in Milanello was accepted by the team and "appreciated" by coach Gennaro Gattuso.
The Frenchman was more than an hour late to train on Wednesday, prompting Gattuso to send Milan to a punitive training camp, known in Italy as "in ritiro".
The Rossoneri have started their punishment – which will keep them at their training ground – on Thursday, until their next Serie A match against Bologna on Monday.
