Mr. Benjamin Amenfi Junior, City Manager of the Human Rights and Administrative Justice Commission (CHARJ) of Ahanta West, called on the media to help educate the public about the need to actively monitor development projects.

According to Mr. Amenfi Junior, the media must play a vital role in publishing the results of the projects audited and also defend the citizens' rights to information.

He said that the media should be more interested than ever in the problems or errors discovered during the audit of such projects and their negative effects on national stock exchanges and development compared to sensational stories.

The CHRAJ Boss said this during a program organized by the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) in the municipality's Hotopo community, which brought together various identifiable groups as part of the anti-corruption program, the Legality and Accountability (PFRA).

The EU-funded ARAP project was set up in 254 districts of the country to encourage citizens to actively participate in the governance process, under the slogan "Citizens for Transparency and Accountability".

Social auditing is a process in which the details of both the financial and non-financial resources used by the bondholders were discussed with the data subjects to obtain the contributions of the community.
