Grammy nominated Remy Ma was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly attacking one of his co-stars "Love & Hip Hop New York" Brittney Taylor at a concert.
Ma, 38, whose real name is Remy Smith, was released on bail of $ 1,500 after being charged with badault. She is accused of hitting Brittney Taylor, her co-star of Love & Hip Hop New York, at a concert on April 16 at Irving Plaza.
The victim reported the incident the next day and claimed that she had had bruises in her right eye, police said. Manhattan Criminal Court Judge Josh Hanshaft ordered Ma to stay away from Taylor during the trial.
Ma's lawyer, Dawn Florio, said his client refuted the charges and was going to defend himself.
