Wontumi yesterday addressed hundreds of NPP supporters in Kumasi at a rally in the interest of the NPP's huge health walk in the Asawase constituency.
"All government officials of former President John Mahama, who will be found guilty of corruption, will soon be imprisoned. The NPP government is aware that Ghanaians hate all forms of corruption and they want us to deal with former corrupt officials and we will do exactly that, "he said.
The march of health brought together hundreds of supporters of the nuclear plant dressed in the red, white and blue colors of the nuclear power plant traveling to Asawase. According to Wontumi, the large number of people participating in the health march made it clear that the nuclear power plant would destroy the three NDC seats in the region in 2020.
"The NPP will forcibly win the seats of Ejura Sekyeredumase, Sekyere Afram Plains and Asawase held by the NDC in 2020," he said.
Wontumi said he would personally work to ensure that former President Mahama and the NDC will no longer sit on the country's presidential throne.
He said President Akufo-Addo had exposed Ghanaians to good governance, which is why citizens would not allow the NDC to return to power.
Wontumi was of the opinion that better policies such as free high school had improved the lives of the mbades, so no one would vote for the NDC in 2020.
