Mesut Ozil denounces the decision of Aaron Ramsey to leave Arsenal for Juventus

Mesut Ozil admits that Aarsenal will miss Aaron Ramsey following his decision to join Juventus this summer.

Ramsey was in talks with the Gunners about a new deal, but the club withdrew its offer in October, leaving the midfielder free to negotiate with rival clubs during the transfer in January.

In February, Juventus announced that Ramsey had signed a four – year deal, which would make him the highest – paid British footballer, while the Welsh international would officially join the champions of Italy on July 1.

Ramsey has made more than 360 appearances since joining Arsenal in 2008 and helped the club win three FA Cups.

And Ozil is sad to see his teammate migrate to Serie A.

"We will miss him," Ozil told Sky Sports.

"He's a player with a lot of potential and skill.

"As a player, we have to accept him, but I wish him good luck for the future and I wish him the best."
