The popular Nigerian singer, Tiwa Savage, left the Mavin Records, directed by Don Jazzy.
Mavin's first lady came out after signing a new contract with Universal Music Group, an American music company that boasts artists such as Rihanna, Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga.
Confirming the development, Don Jazzy, in a farewell message on his Instagram account, thanked Tiwa Savage for his seven outstanding years with the label.
He wrote: "Our darling Tiwatope. At Mavin, we would like to say a very big thank you for being such a source of inspiration for all of us, a friend, a sister.
"It's an epic journey with you and we're very proud of what we've accomplished together. As you enter this new chapter of your life, we want you to know that we are firmly behind you and can not wait for the whole world to see what we have always believed you could be.
"Your jersey as Mavin's first lady will be forever, because we do not intend to fill this position with anyone. We love you from the bottom of our hearts and pray God's blessings to follow you. "
