"The Attorney General of the United States of America has not told the truth to the United States Congress.It is a crime," Pelosi told reporters at his press conference weekly on Capitol Hill.
Barr was closely examined for telling Congress last month that he did not know whether special advocate Robert Mueller had supported Barr's description of the report in his summary.
The Ministry of Justice challenged the description of Pelosi's minutes after his comments were made. "The baseless attack by the Attorney General is reckless, irresponsible and false," said Justice Department spokeswoman Kerri Kupec.
During the question-and-answer part of the press conference, Pelosi was again questioned that Barr had committed a crime and should go to prison. Pelosi also said Thursday that she had lost sleep after watching Barr's testimony Wednesday before the Senate Judiciary Committee and baderted that Barr, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and President Donald Trump were " maids "for special interests and right-wing ideology.
