Former vice president of the Ghana Football Federation, George Afriyie, has reaffirmed his intention to run for president of the country's governing body of football when applications are opened.
The former head of Liberty Professionals and Okyeman Planners said he would confirm his candidacy after the end of the mandate of the Standards Committee.
However, he urged everyone to focus on the standardization process and ensure a smooth transfer.
The Ghana federation is currently headed by the four-member commission appointed by FIFA.
His term ends in September, when he is expected to oversee an election to inaugurate the new GFA administration.
