The historic collaboration agreement signed between the National Lottery Authority (NLA) and the Veterans Administration (Ghana) has begun to produce positive and healthy results for socio-economic development and financial empowerment of veterans and soldiers.
The Ministry of Defense as well as the Vice President and General Manager of the National Lottery Authority (NLA) proceeded with the ground cut for the start of construction of a military sports complex in Tamale, in the region northern Ghana.
The sports complex is partly funded by the authority of the National Lottery (NLA) as a result of a collaboration agreement between the National Lottery Authority (NLA) and the Veterans Administration Ghana (NLA). VAG).
The National Lottery Authority, led by Kofi Osei-Ameyaw, has demonstrated a strong commitment to the empowerment of veterans and soldiers.
An ambulance was also given to soldiers and veterans in Tamale as part of efforts to contribute to the quality health care delivery system.
The NLA, which took over VAG, has been a staunch supporter of Veterans, including:
1. The initial payment of 120,000 GHS by the ALN to VAG and the additional payment of 100,000 GHS as part of the company's social responsibility towards veterans.
2. A monthly cash payment of 120,000 GHS by NLA to VAG for the maintenance of retired soldiers and veterans.
