Real Madrid has unveiled its superb list of six candidates to bring them closer to Barcelona.
Los Blancos have had a miserable season in La Liga and have also come out of the Champions League.
Former boss Zinedine Zidane was shocked by his return to Bernabeu – but he called for a huge war band to rebuild the club.
So, how is a summer transfer sound of € 487 million?
And according to the highest Spanish source, AS, his list of six finalists is about to be finalized, including three stars of the Premier League.
Porto defender Eder Militao is expected to join this summer, barely a year after being eliminated from Brazilian football.
It will cost € 50 million from Porto after an excellent season in Europe.
Manchester United followed the 22-year-old, but he is ready to sign for Madrid.
But Zidane is definitely not finished there.
He wants to base his midfield around Paul Pogba. The Manchester United midfielder is expected to cost € 150m.
The French has been in conflict with the Old Trafford hierarchy over the last two seasons and they could be on the verge of reducing their losses.
To badist him in the midfield, Zidane also wants the Spurs midfielder, Christian Eriksen, whose contract expires in 12 months.
The Spurs want 100 million euros – but Real Madrid does not want to pay more than 85 million euros.
To complete the midfield, Zidane has booked midfielder Tanguy Ndombele, 22, for about 80 million euros.
At the forefront, Real Madrid has its hopes of becoming the long-term Eden Hazard target. Again, his contract is in effect in 2020 but still, Chelsea still wants 112 million euros.
Madrid may have to pay that to get the Belgian fit, 28 years old.
And to complete it, they are in advanced talks with Eintracht Frankfurt to procure emerging striker Luka Jovic.
The young man of 21 years will cost 60 M €.
This represents a huge expense of € 487 million on six players – which means that Zidane will have to balance his accounts.
Three players should leave the Bernabeu, led by the star of the Wales Gare Bale.
He is also trying to separate James Rodriguaz and Mateo Kovacic in order to raise funds for one of the biggest transfer madnesses in history.
